The reason you started playing football?
My father was a professional footballer. He moved my mother and himself out to Australia to play in the old NSL so it was in our blood.
Best piece of advice given to you?
‘You done become a bad player overnight’.
Greatest moment in your career?
Playing for the Socceroos in front of my family at Suncorp Stadium.
Biggest impact on your career?
My father. He’s always been the one I’ve always went to for advice and guidance.
Best advice you can give to up and coming youngsters?
Listen. If you can listen to people you have a great chance of becoming a professional. Talent alone isn’t enough.
