The reason you started playing football?

Growing up in Scotland all the kids in the street went up the park for a kick about every day. I joined in and before I knew it I was playing football every day.

Best piece of advice given to you?

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes or try something new, that’s where you can find that little bit of magic to help you stand out from the rest.

Greatest moment in your career?

Making my A-League debut at Coopers Stadium for Perth Glory against Adelaide United.

Biggest impact on your career?

My dad, he always supported the decisions I made and would do anything he could to help me along the way. I wouldn’t be the player or person today without his guidance.

Best advice you can give to up and coming youngsters?

The piece of advice I got from coaches and managers when I was young and still get told today is to never give up. To succeed takes a lot of dedication and there will be set backs along the way, but you have to keep going. Continue to train hard with a positive attitude then anything is possible.
